Established more than 35 years ago, Bestwood is well known for its high quality melamine and veneer panels. The brand is owned by New Zealand Panels Group.
Bestwood’s melamine range is extensive and has been curated specifically for the New Zealand market with input from local designers to ensure that there is something to suit every style of interior project. Veneer panels include the most popular species such as American White Oak, European Oak, Eucalyptus, American White Ash and a range of NZ native species.

This includes:
- The use of responsibly sourced decorative materials for our pressed panels.
- Using low formaldehyde board.
- A constant focus on reducing our manufacturing waste and re-using and re-purposing materials where possible.
- Only using electricity from 100% certified renewable sources and reducing usage wherever possible.
- Our East Tamaki plant is rated as a GreenStar 4* building and features a number of initiatives that have significantly improved our environmental footprint.
