Eco Choice Aotearoa’s standard for Building Insulants covers both thermal and acoustic products.

Below is a summary of the changes:

1 Addition of the Modern Slavery and Social Accountability Criteria (5.3) and corresponding Appendix
2 Addition of Environmental Management Systems Criteria (5.2)
3 Update of Hazardous Substances Criteria to include the publication of SDS or Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
4 Update to Waste Criteria (in alignment with EC32) to have continuous improvements in waste management
5 Update/Rewrite to Energy Management Criteria (now changed to Energy management and greenhouse gas emissions) to include the 1.5 C trajectory and to align with the changes made in EC-32 where appropriate.
6 Updated the Hazardous substances classifications Appendix to reflect the updated version in EC-32
