HP New Zealand

HP is redefining the future of work through technology. HP integrates its commitment to responsible business practices into its core operations since being founded in 1939. HP New Zealand has been operating in Aotearoa since 1967, with offices currently located in Auckland and Wellington.

HP prioritises designing products for durability, repairability, reusability, and recyclability, and increasing the use of recycled and renewable materials. Since 2019, HP has utilized more than 4 billion pounds of circular materials (reused, recycled, or renewable) in its products and packaging. Today, more than 99% of HP home and office printers, desktops, notebooks, displays, and workstations shipped contain recycled materials.

HP’s Planet Partners program, active in Aotearoa for the past decade, enables customers to easily recycle end-of-life HP equipment and supplies. Commercial customers can schedule pick-ups with collection nationwide within five working days for responsible recycling, while individuals and small businesses can drop off their e-waste at a TechCollect New Zealand free drop-off site.

HP is consistently recognised globally as a leader in corporate sustainability. HP has earned the Platinum medal from EcoVadis for the 15th consecutive year, ranking among the top 1% of companies worldwide for social and environmental efforts.

Eco Choice Aotearoa certification offers HP a way to have TCO certified products recognised by a long-standing local ecolabel that helps New Zealanders buy better.
