Eco Choice Aotearoa’s standard for Paper Products ensures responsible sourcing of raw materials, resource efficiency and waste minimisation. It also requires high percentages of recycled content and reduced chemical usage.

Paper Products include:

• Printing/ copy paper
• Facial tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins
• Paper and cardboard packaging materials

The standard does not cover sanitary products.

In addition to product specific requirements, businesses with products certified in this category, must also track and report emissions, waste, water and energy usage.
